Photos taken just a few moments ago when I was on my way home. These past 3 weeks of school has been really exhausting. Would come home from school everyday feeling like KO-ing on the bed. Can't even concentrate on any homework. That bloody cycle repeats itself every single day. 7 hours of sleep is too short for me. I need at least 10 hours. :(
There's a long weekend starting tomorrow. Hopefully, I will be able to catch up on some sleep and finish all my homework (T_T).

How will I spend my last day of 2011?

It's 12:43am right now. Have a facial appointment with my mum and sis at 4. It just feels weird knowing that 2011 is ending and 365days passed like that. In a snap of a finger. I can vaguely remember the first day of school on 3rd jan 2011 and kaboom! Schools starting in 3 days time.
Well, 2011 hasn't been smooth sailing for me. Many ups and downs. Friendship, family, work and studies but nonetheless, I still survived!

In 2011 I feel that I have matured (a little?). I've learnt many new things, met new people and got closer to a bunch of people.

4 words to describe 2011:
Could have been better.

2012 will be a better year! *crosses fingers! Cheers!

Lying on my bed in my cool, dry room listening to my iPod with deer in the headlights on the repeat with sounds of the raindrops dropping in the background. How tranquilizing.

Standing by the window and everything outside looks so calm and surreal. The sky is blue, the ground is wet, buildings are orange from the sunset, white birds are on the trees and cars are coming in. Just by standing by the window, I can feel how cool it is outside. A walk at the canal now would be great considering the fact that I love to walk.

I went to Facebook yesterday and I saw a quote. “If it makes you happy, do it. If it doesn't, then don't.” That quote made me stop for a moment. That quote made it seem so easy to just not do things. In some circumstances we are forced to do things we aren't happy with doing. If it was just as easy as what the quote seem to imply, then I'm sure tons of people will be much much happier.

Now let me indulge in some home cooked food before the torture begins in 12 hours.

I have been wasting time bumming around the house for these 2 weeks. Can you believe it? This week is the 3rd week o the holidays. That's fast isn't it!! I am going to work on Saturday and Sunday. To be honest, I am really worried and excited at the same time. This would be the first time I am working and having a job. Birthday is on next Sunday and tomorrow is 11/11/11. Zzzzz. Hopefully I won't feel that I wasted my holiday doing nothing after I start to work. Woohoo, thinking about receiving my pay just thrills me!! Sadly there's 10/20% CPF but that's a good thing I guess.

What I have been doing everyday. I need a break. All this studying is making me insane. Have been staying up every night trying to make sure I did not leave out anything. Stepping into the hall nerve wrecking.
N levels Oo N levels.... After my N levels I still have to study for English O.
After my last N level paper I only have about 2 weeks to prepare for English. Which is obviously very little time. What makes it worst is that I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE EXPRESS STUDENTS LEARN!!! Oh god. Bye im going to smash my face against the pile of books in front of me.

I miss my old house.
I miss the 15mins walk home. Passing by the old mama shop. Buying potato chips and sweets there. I miss the swimming pool, the gym, the sauna, the pond with my fav tortoise in it. I miss living in a condo. The security. The guardhouse. The card key and gate. I miss my house. The big and long living room. The backyard and 2 storerooms. I miss hiding in the cardboard when playing hide and seek. I miss chilling by the pool side at night. I miss all the childhood memories. Sneaking out of the house just to play with my neighbors. Playing barbie with my sister. Having stayed in a condo almost my whole life. I have to admit I wasn't use when I first moved into a HDB. I hate the smelly lobby and lifts. The inconsiderate people in my block who throw their rubbish anywhere. Kids screaming downstairs in the middle of the night. Adults arguing. The lack of security. I miss having a BBQ pit just downstairs my house.

All in all, I miss living in a condo.
I miss my old house.

after coming back from bangkok, i stopped buying things online and by online i mean local web store.
yknow why? when i went to bangkok, i saw clothes selling in singapore's local web store.
i'm sure you won't be able to guess the real price. ok lets take this Scallop Hem Collar Blouse for example. I got a similar one in bangkok for around $8 sing dollars but i saw a web store selling it for $26.5
oh and the union jack wallet. i saw a webstore selling for $21 when the actual price is only $4 lol
can you imagine the amount of profits they're earning? that's why i stopped buying online things.
but i am sure after a period of time i will go back to online shopping haha

i dont get it why are so many people racist against the china and indian people.

i am a chinese and i dont get why do people go "eee" why they see china people. our ancestors come from china so why go ee when you're actually one of them. just yesterday when i went to giant with my family for grocery shopping, a bunch of china guys which i will assume they are construction workers since they are tan were eating longons on the spot before buying them. my father and sister immediately went "go complain. they are eating the longans" when there are Singaporeans doing the same thing too. eating a few longongs wont kill. how much do these foreign worker earn? you want to complain because they are eating a few longons. omg please! now about indians. whenever i'm with my friends when they see an indian worker they will go bangala or yucks or black. which is what i dont get. why would anyone want to call another person names when you dont even know him or her? plus calling an indian person black is really racist. everyone in the world is equal. there aren't any race which is more superior than the other. which gets to my next point of angmohs/caucasians.

i honestly dont think that caucasians are big deal. so what if they are taller than most asians, have colourful hair/eyes.

caucasians are not better than asians. we are not inferior as compared to them. seeing a caucasians on the street doesnt mean that they are rich. oh btw, asia has more millionaires that europe and asia is going to overtake america soon. so who says asians are poor and caucasians are rich. bullshit. since we are asians why not feel proud of ourselves and not compare ourselves with other races.

Hello everyone. I'm on the plane now and I am actually typing this on my phone.
Feeling really uncomfortable and there isnt anything to do except to sleep. 1st disadvantage of flying budget. It's currently1:05pm singapore time and the flight to bkk takes approx 2h 5mins.
So i still have to stay in this plane for another 30mins. Really dont know how I survive the 12 hour flight to London when i was young. I only remembered myself playing super mario the whole time hahha. Btw, I'm so thirsty!! Food is not included. 2nd disadvantage. First thing i'm going to buy when i touch down is to buy a bottle of water. Plus my ear gets block every 10 mins or so. In order to "un-block" it i have to swallow saliva and my mouth is already so dry. So the announcement just came on and i think they said that we're landing. WOO HOO! So excited to smell Thailand's air! Going to take a cab to the hotel and then go to platinum. I'm actually flying above the sea now. Bye for now. Ok can feel the plane going up and down.

Have been planning this BBQ for a really long time and the day finally came.

We were all looking forward to it. On that day we went to bbqwholesale to collect the food.

Fast foward fast forward~~ NTUC then walked all the way to the underpass.

Which was really far away. The heat made it worst. Nevertheless, we made it. Phew

Then we found out someone was using our pit -.- Like seriously????

Last night was a total torture. Felt really nauseous while watching tv.

Vomited out all the noodle i ate during dinner. Thought i was okay but then i vomited again.

Drank water vomit. Eat medicine vomit. I felt so weak. I could not even sleep because i was so afraid that i would puke again. I was just practically vomiting out everything in my stomach. When there wasnt any more food i could vomit, i vomited some gooey mucus like thing. Ew gross.

Spent today with Huiping and Beibei running around with 5 balloons on each of our bag.
Amazing how we walked from Paya Lebar to Parkway. Went around to the make up shops trying testers.
Swensen's for some chocolate fondue, vege mix and salad. What a weird combination of food.

Results results results this whole week is all about mye results

I am really really disappointed with my english compo marks. I can't believe i actually scored a pathetic 15/30. In my whole seconday school life, that's the lowest i've ever scored. I got 62/80 for paper 2 and 23/30 for letter writing which i am really contented with but bcos of my compo marks, my entire english grade

will be pulled down by 1. Now i dont think i can even get an "A".

Hahahhahahha no one would be able to guess how much i got for math. Even I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw on the visualizer that i got 73. Like seriously 73! I got ± 36 last year. Such a huge improvement.

I (finally) passed history! My marks wasn't fantastic but at least i passed!! Got back f&n paper today. A1! :)

Calculated my points and it's 16 for L1R4 which is not good enough. I want to get a single digit. I will work hard for my Ns and make sure i see a 1 digit score on my result slip. Well, if i dont then it can't be helped. Actually, as long as i get below 15 i will be pleased. The important thing is not to fail and go to ITE.

That's not a path i would want to end up in.

I want to go to sec5 and then subsequently poly.

Everyone is talking about the General Elections right now & all i hear about is criticism about PAP.

Floods, over spending etc all blame PAP. Like hello! It's not as if like PM Lee wanted the floods.

Anyway some opposition's policies are just plain stupid. Take away the shipyard? Build offices in Jurong Island instead of the factories. Merge Pri and Sec schools together? LOL

Still waiting for the day i get to wear them out.

Went to the PAP rally at Aljunied yesterday.

Tin Pei Ling is actually quite a good speaker.

Can someone enlighten me as to why do so many people hate her?

& seriously, everyone should stop comparing Nicole Seah to Tin Pei Ling.

They're two different people. Anyway i cant wait to see the results this year.

Especially for Aljunied GRC and Potong Pasir SMC.
